I never thought I would be in a position where I would begin looking to discard my car, but I guess that’s where I am. Let me tell you the story of my 2021 Dodge Durango.Â

I never thought I would be in a position where I would begin looking to discard my car, but I guess that’s where I am. Let me tell you the story of my 2021 Dodge Durango.Â
I own a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu, a car that promises superior ride quality, storage space, reliable construction, and many other things. But oh boy did mine fail to deliver.
Driving this car has become more of a task than an enjoyable experience. In fact, it has become so stressful to drive it that I only do so when I absolutely need to.
The issues I’ve been experiencing began from seemingly minor problems that I originally reported to the dealership.
Like I said earlier, the huge size is why I opted for the Suburban, because I see it as an advantage. At least, I did. Here goes the story of how I came to dislike one of my favorite vehicles.Â
They say it’s wrong to generalize when referring to specific problems for your vehicle. But when it happens again and again, it starts to turn from a fluke to a trend.
I thought she was just blowing things out of proportion, but I later realized that it might actually be worse than she said.Â
At the time, I was convinced it was a reasonable upgrade, especially considering the 2022 model came with a more powerful engine. Little did I know that the seemingly better upgrade was a lemon in disguise.
My car issues have turned me into a regular visitor at my dealership, and I still have another visit scheduled. There are a couple issues I’ve been dealing with and they actually compound each other.
Considering how difficult it is to trace the source of a coolant leak, this problem has persisted over the past 6 to 7 months. To compound matters, the dealership I went to for repairs has not been much help.Â
Ever since I got it, I have been in and out of the repair shop for one issue or another. The very first issue I had with it came up not even three weeks after I leased it.
Unfortunately this ideology of mine soon changed after getting my brand new 2021 Chevrolet Cruze.Â
